Pam Taylor, Managing Director
Pam is responsible for all research operations at Intersperience. Working closely with Pam is a research team incorporating project managers, qualitative experts, statisticians and quantitative researchers. Pam also oversees the management of our CATI data collection centre. Pam has extensive management experience and combines strong organisational skills with effective people management to ensure projects are delivered in a timely, efficient manner.
Annette Smith, Online Insight Manager
Annette has been instrumental in developing both our online research platform and online qualitative capability. Annette has extensive research experience, with skills in desk research, interviewing, conducting focus groups and quantitative research methods. Prior to joining Intersperience, she conducted research into students' use of higher education league tables and on the strategizing and performance management practices of college Senior Leaders and Chief Executives. She has a degree in Linguistics and English Language and a MA in Applied Research and Consultancy from Lancaster University.
Maria Twigge, Insight Manager
Maria is passionate about human experiences, leading projects with online, media and public sector clients. This breadth of experience coupled with Maria’s background in Psychology enables her to creatively deliver bespoke projects. Maria works across our team of researchers to inspire and motivate enquiry into consumer issues with a keen interest in new innovative techniques. Maria is also skilled at research with young people and enjoys face to face and online focus groups. She takes a keen critical stance on results interpretation and uses her skills for abstract thought to infer practical solutions and strategies. Maria previously worked as an Assistant Psychologist after completing an applied degree in Psychology from Lancaster University.
Dorota Rewinska, Insight Manager
Dorota is native Polish with a Doctorate in Natural Science, which she received from Newcastle University. Her strengths lie in research methods, project management and data analysis, particularly combining data processing with interpretation of the results. Dorota’s skills are complimented by her interest in consumer behaviour. Her Polish nationality adds valuable insight into cross cultural aspects of market research.
Louisa Thistlethwaite, Research Quality Manager
Following graduating with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology, Louisa’s career in research has seen her deliver both thought provoking and business critical research to clients across industry. Working on projects both in Europe and America, Louisa has gained a unique insight into consumer behaviour - experience that has added value for many clients. In her former role of Senior Research Associate, Louisa utilised her strong capabilities in statistical data analysis and manipulation in combination with her aptitude for qualitative reasoning to enhance our clients’ customer approach.
On return from maternity leave Louisa took up a role heading up Intersperience's Quality and Training program. With a keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, her role ensures that research outputs meet our exacting standards and that staff continue to develop and refine their skill and knowledge base.
Lucia Hoffart, International Development Manager
Lucia is responsible for the research and development of Intersperience’s international service proposition. As a native German with degrees in Social Science and Cultural Studies from both German and British universities, her project management skills are paired with a strong academic background. With an inherent understanding of cultural implications for international research and extensive experience of both qualitative and quantitative research activities for a number of leading clients Lucia is ideally placed to meet and far exceed international market demand.
Kiira Haanperä, International Research Manager
Kiira holds an MA degree in social sciences from Lancaster University and is an experienced international project manager. Since joining the company, she has applied her academic background in anthropology and social sciences to manage a team of multi-cultural researchers. Kiira leads our International unit at Lancaster University, where her professional responsibilities include overseeing a number of complex projects with languages spanning over 60 nationalities, recruitment of international researchers, analysis and reporting of the results, and managing the Unit.
Larry Bate, Project Co-ordinator
Larry has worked for over 14 years either in or closely associated to various Contact Centres. He is our lead mystery-shopping analyst and he has worked behind the scenes on developing our regular sector benchmarking reviews and is instrumental in continually updating our SSB methodology reflecting our customer service standards. Also, he has worked extensively on the benchmarking parts of various of our clients' projects seeing to it that the client requirements are met by means of the mystery shopping calls, analysis and reporting.
Charlotte Pearson, Senior Research Associate
During Charlotte’s studies at Lancaster University she gained extensive experience of research in the health care environment which provides her with the ideal platform to conduct and interpret sensitive research projects with the necessary understanding and empathy. Charlotte specialises in qualitative field techniques with a natural affinity for communicating with people face-to-face in both interview and focus group. Since joining Intersperience she has played a key role in this area a providing an invaluable level of insight to clients across the board.
Laura Hotchkiss, Senior Research Associate
Laura graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Psychology. Adept in both qualitative and quantitative techniques and statistical analysis she has played a key role in several projects since joining Intersperience. Laura’s academic background provides her with a thorough understanding of environmental effects on human behaviour and mechanisms of social communication. This coupled with her varied experience in the latest research methods has led to a specialisation in consumer behaviour.
Amy Eborall, Senior Research Associate
Amy graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Criminology and Sociology. Her studies have provided her with a solid understanding of research methods, interpretation and presentation of results from her experience of using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. This, along with her many years of working in the retail industry, has given her a solid understanding of applying research to a business context.
Kieran Griffiths, Research Associate
Kieran graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychological Research Methods. His academic background has provided him with an understanding into a wide range of both quantitative and qualitative research designs, as well as an interest in understanding human behaviour. Kieran’s focus has been on conducting research into new forms of communication over online communities, experimenting with how online communications may change people’s perception or alter how people interact and build relationships, compared with their face to face communications.
Dave Leach, Research Associate
Dave graduated with a degree in Business Studies. With a specialism in Marketing, his academic background has provided him with an understanding of consumer behaviour, market research techniques, international management and data analysis. Having worked within education, retail and the financial industry, he has successfully applied this knowledge in many business environments. Dave has also studied at Mannheim University in Germany and worked across Anhui province in China, where his enthusiasm for international business has given him valuable experience with cross cultural consumerism.
Alison Little, Marketing Associate
Alison's primary interest is in understanding consumer behaviour and how this affects organizational strategy. With a background in marketing and PR she has an astute awareness of the challenges facing such departments which provides her with a valuable insight into the necessity of accurate market research. Alison graduated from Kingston University with a degree in Business Information Technology and her experience in marketing and management provides her with the key competencies for effective project management and the interpretation of both quantitative and qualitative data.
Rex Abbott, Research & Marketing Associate
Rex started his career in the banking sector for Barclays, working his way up to Area Sales Manager. In this time, Rex led the Regional team to be the most profitable in the Northern Area. After a highly successful career with Barclays, Rex joined the Intersperience team bringing experience in Marketing, Sales and Compliance which has proven invaluable when supervising the research team and undertaking marketing responsibilities.
Grayling Shankley, Research Associate
Grayling’s prime research interest is in understanding human behaviour in a consumer context. Since joining Intersperience she has utilised her excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with consumers in an online setting, unpicking behaviours, motivations and actions to deliver actionable insight to clients. Grayling has a degree in Psychology giving her a solid understanding of research methods, qualitative and quantative techniques and an ability to effectively carry out statistical analysis.
